Lyrically of course Kurupt WAS better (he's just shit now with a nice verse here & then) but they both had dope discographies. I'd go with Kurupt though because of his legacy with DPG & I bump his music way more than Cube's.

Cube any day. Kurupt was the shit on Dogg Food. And occasionally comes through with a fly lyrical verse. Other than that, he's just boring to me, no charisma whatsoever. He either curses too much with verses that make no sense, or uses big words that in the end make no sense either. Someone used the word clown and I think it fits dude well. I love some of his albums but really I never took him seriously personality-wise, that's why I say he has no charisma. He's trying too hard to look hard, just like in the movies he's in, who can take him seriously ? I mean at least other rappers know how to fake. But he can come with some extaordinary shit, like the verses on I Got My Mind Made Up, New York New York... too bad it hardly represents 20% of his catalogue.

Now Cube is a trendsetter and a leged and I'd say he has a better delivery than Kurupt, more charisma and better lyrics overall. I enjoy his story telling skills and his crisp delivery. He's just so creative. But he is a sell-out, and nowhere near credible when he takes on the gangsta persona.
