whats up with him?  I ain't heard from him in awhile,  he is dope as fuck.  He needs to hook up with tray deee and dresta.  what is your favorite album of his?  I only got watcha gonna do and criminalz, both bangin, but I think I would like crip hop best.

If you dont have "Take A Ride" then you need to cop that first. That shit is hard.... CLASSIC Jayo songs on that cd that you gotta have. I think that album and Whatcha Gonna Do were his best... I wasn't really feelin Crip Hop... Only track I thought was alright was tha one produced by Battlecat. And ofcourse "Hotta Than Fish Grease" but I had been bumpin that for years before it came out.  I remember when I first went and bought Crip Hop too... I was all excited cuz it was Jayo's new shit but when I finally heard it, I didn't really like it. It was boring to me... beats were kinda boring.. sounded kinda low budget, maybe cuz it was but still.. just some played out gangster shit... I think Jayo could have done alot better, cuz I've seen him do better...



I've only heard Crip Hop a couple times though... I dont get why people say it's his best... I actually feel like listening to it right now to see if there's something I missed... I dont know though, Maybe you'll like Crip Hop but I recommend Take A Ride .

i like Crip Hop alot...it was one of the best albums of 2001...it was behind Anghellic...i thought the beats banged...he came off hard lyrically...he even stepped up his lyricism...but true Take A Ride was classic...fuck it peep all Jayo material...its all consistent

yea I agree, i was really disappointed with crip hop too. There was a couple tracks that banged but thats it.

I'm always looking forward to new shit from him tho, I think he's up there with the best on the west. anybody peep that song he did 'Jiggas Ass Is Guilty'? Thats the last new track i heard from him, shit was coo

my fave album of his is without a doubt TAKE A RIDE that definatly is some classic shit, and the CRIMINALZ album is dope as fuck too....
