"...Now another of their friends tried to rap too. I don't know what happened to him. I think his name was Doggy Doggy. I guess all of them wanted to be dogs"
The saddest part about this whole situation is that it seems like if something could of been done to save his life, yet all his so called friends who are now crying wolf on Twitter and interviews didn't do a thing about it. I just had a friend who was in critical condition all kinds of machines hooked up to him starring at death in it's face but dude had an overwhelming amount of support. So many people went into his room and motivated him to get up and fight for his life and sure enough, he made it. It's sad to know that had his friends truly supported him and motivated him to fight Nate would still be here today. Killin hooks left and right. If he only knew how immense his following was, it probably wouldve made up the lack of support he received from his so call friends barring a few of them. R.I.paradise big Nate
http://www.myfoxmemphis.com/dpp/news/local/031611-father-mourns-loss-of-his-son-hip-hop-icon-nate-doggHe suffered two strokes in two years, and had been bound to a wheelchair, paralyzed and speechless at a California nursing home. His condition was so bad, his father says he was merely existing, not living."That's all we could do in that condition,” said Pastor Hale. “It wasn't a disease or sickness. He wasn't suffering, he was just handicapped."
My condolences to Nate`s family.
Recovery and rahabilitation are mental as much as they are physical and medical, Doc said his recovery was up to him and although I agree with you that when music was his life and being stranded in a wheel chair immobilized could seriously hamper any hopesof a recovery it seems to me from the interviews that I read that he felt alone with the exception of a few peeps that never forgot about big Nate, but this is honestly all speculation. However if this is in deed true, it's sad that he had to leave that way after everything the man did for music.

Having loved ones around to motivate you can certainly help lift one's spirits but this situation was real grim once news of stroke #2 surfaced. When everyone was on here complaining about lack of updates and hyping themselves up on the idea that he'd be up and making hit records any day now, I think they were looking at it from unrealistic eyes. We look at the people who entertain us as larger-than-life and super human so when bad shit happens, we think they will overcome it. When Pac got shot in Vegas, we assumed because he survived being shot once before that he would get through it no problem. We assumed because Nate was who he was that he would overcome two strokes. Having two consecutive strokes before your 40th birthday is SERIOUS. I'd be willing to bet if any footage of Nate in his condition leaked, all your hearts would be crushed. I like paint myself as an idealist as much as the next person but while I'm sure that visits and phone calls would lift my spirit temporarily in the dark times if I was unable to move or speak on my own, I don't think having famous rappers visit me daily would change my outlook on life much.
