For 2Pac I'll just consider everything before and including The Don Kiluminati.

Longevity - Don't know what to do about this
Consistency - Pac...I think he got better with every album, Nas slipped a bit but recovered very nicely
Voice - Tie...both have good voices and fit their delivery well
Flow - Tie...both have nice flows, maybe an edge to Nas
Delivery - Pac
Lyrically [complexity (vocab, rhymes patterns, multis)] - Nas
Catalogue - Nas...very close
Impact - Pac...easy
Working/Rhyming with others - Nas...close too, but I think I just like him better in guestspots and in duets better than Pac but the Thug Life album is better than The Firm album
Freestyling - Nas...I guess but I don't think either are much when it comes to this
Battling - Nas

Oh man, that's a tought one. If we talking about that Nas who appears in The Pledge RMX video, then it's easly Pac. If we talking about the Illmatic Nas, then.. i dont kno. Both rappers were hella tight lyrically. But i consider Pac's career better than Nas's career (i mean, like for Snoop, 1 great cd doesnt make you great forever).

Pac.

Pac didn't like Nas, and after his death Nas have been following in his footsteps & some times copying him.
That's idolization right there..

Got much love for Nas, but I've always preferred Pac's style.

My two fav MC's ever, however.....

Pac > Nas

Nas has the edge lyrically, and is overall a more creative MC than Pac was. And his story telling ability is quite possibly the best ever. Pac and Big could tell a story too, but not like Nas. However, despite the deep subject matter, Nas puts little emotion into his words. With Pac, you could feel what he was saying. Not just what he was talking about, but HOW he was talking about it. He put passion and conviction into his words. Mic presence definatly goes to Pac. Flow is pretty equal. Impact easily goes to Pac, as AEOM was at least equally as influential as Illmatic, and Pac is the bigger icon. Both have pretty strong catalogs, but Pac has three strong classic albums, while Nas only has two [if you include Lost Tapes]. I think Pac was a stronger song writer than Nas also.......Pac has penned a countless number of classic songs.

So yea, Pac gets my vote, but Nas is still one of the best ever.

You've pretty much summed up my thoughts  :)

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

Fuck comparing 'Pac to Eazy, this is a closer match IMO based on hip-hop peers. Nas is very close with 'Pac in many aspects, and both almost rap about the same shit.

Flow - even, both have a different type flow, as 'Pac is very powerful, and puntuates almost every key point he makes. Nas is more of a straight old school rhymer, who's flow is alittle ruffer, but it works for him nicely.

Freestyle - I think 'Pac gots this, as Nas never truly freestyles, and 'Pac did so more often. But when Nas freestyles, it's usually good, but 'Pac does it more.

Rhyming - OMG, this one is tuff, because Nas is more complicated, but 'Pac was more metaphoric. (which I base my shit in the keystyle forum) Nas can flip a line like no other, but 'Pac uses his metaphors to just punch his point home. But in the end, it has to go to Nas, when his on top of his game. Nas not on his game is down right confusing, but since I'm using 'Pac on his game, Nas.

Impact - After 11 years since BB dropped, Nas is still here, and has changed the game now twice with Illmatic and Stillmatic. He is the rapper saving hip-hop, or at least trying, and doing a great job. 'Pac on the other hand IMO, the greatest rapper to ever touch the mic. His shit was so powerful, it moved people, it gather respondes from the Vice-President, and when he died, the hip-hop world never stopped mourning his death. 'Pac affected the game like no one ever will.

Albums - This is weird, because Nas has two classics, and 'Pac has two. (Illmatic and Stillmatic vs. Me Against the World and The 7 Day Theory) Nas had his short falls in the middle of his career, 'Pac just kept rising. Both lead different careers, but in the end, I think 'Pac got him, though I think Nas could surpass 'Pac soon.

The end, 'Pac I think gots this, but who knows about the future. The question is, if Nas was to leave the game some how, how would he be remembered. That's how this comparing could be complete.

If I had to choose between listening to Nas or 2Pac's music, if it was a life or death discision 'Pac would always take it, but Nas has always been one of my fav's, and like Lost Angel said this is more of a better comparison than anyone Vs. 'Pac imo. I would of loved to of heared them work together properly when 'Pac was alive, "Thugz Mansion Acoustic" is an impressive substitute though.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.
