NFL 2011 schedule & tv primetime games.
« on: April 19, 2011, 05:09:44 PM »
So much hype.  Just what it be, hype.  I will post up the team by team link for schedules & the weekly schedule.  Yeah i'm probably sounding like I can do a better job at this but yes I can.  Especially the opening week tv schedule.  Some games that should be given a chance for primetime matchups aren't but overrated & played out tv matchups are >:(
G. Bay vs. Saints-i'm ok with it.  I'd choose their opponent the bucs or lions.  I say lions so the people can see china doll stafford before he's injured for the season again :D only time the lions are on tv are thanksgiving & stafford might not make it to that game.  I feel them vs. Bears or Vikings would be rubbing it in & that's uncool.
Dallas vs. Jets night game 9/11  Giants vs. Jets woulda been better.  Worse is that Giants vs. Dallas is on primetime tv again :(  later on in the season.
Mon. night  :grumpy: Ingratriots vs. Dolphins, 7pm game Raiders/Donkeys

I feel that the Raiders should win a playoff game before they be allowed to open the NFL season again.  The last few years they'd open the season on pt tv they'd get blown out & they were the 1st to do 7-11.  Not being a hater, I just hate their owner.  And why be put in situations where they'll most likely lose?

What would I choose as the openers for ESPN?  Steelers/Dolts the 4pm game.  I hate both but would watch that matchup.  They will face each other 2nd sunday night NBC game.  And the 7pm game Dallas vs. Frisco.  Cause I doubt they ever faced each other on MNF, even when it was considered a SB matchup in the 90's.  But they will face each other in the 2nd week of the season but a day game.

And the Dolphins play Dallas on Thanksgiving again.  I should be happy cause the Dolphins beat them the last 2 TG games but its been done.  Screw the Bills but mix it up.  They could be competitive vs Dallas on TG just like the last time they faced them on MNF, 1st time in years they hosted a MNF game.

And the NFL again has a London game even though the fans hate it & want their 8 home games.  Lots of people be always wanting SB matchups on 1st game of the season or TG but lots of those times these so called GAMES OF THE MILLENIUM are either a 1 sided blowout or a low scoring snoozefest so remember that.  Just in case someone has a problem with my choosing of TV games.  Some good choices but some bad ones too.

My rants over, so here's the links to the schedules & season.
It starts with your choice of teams

Why would they most likely lose to the Broncos?? lol. The Raiders are obviously on the rise. We swept the AFC West, beat the Chargers twice. The game in SD was actually a fairly easy win. Beat the Chiefs twice, who were a playoff team. And the Broncos twice, once annihilating them in Denver. Not quite sure why we would be most likely to lose that game. At this point, it wouldnt shock many people for the Raiders to be a playoff team this year.

Jets got it kinda rough.

Pats (2x), Ravens, Giants, Cowboys, Chiefs, Chargers & Eagles are no gimmies. But if we drop half of them & win the rest of the games we're supposed to win, we're looking at 12-4.

I gotta try to get tickets to that Jets/Giants game. Should be intense. 8)

If they beat the Pats then it's a blessing. They'll walk over Denver and then get a nice long rest.

Well i'm not so sure yet.  Their schedule is harder this time.  No cake walk schedule this time.  NFC Central & AFC East.  If Buffalo faces the Raiders in Oakland[which they've never won at] seems like the sure win.  Their draft wasn't as good as last year.  I"m not saying the Raiders shouldn't be on primetime tv all year, just not week 1.  They lost 5 week 1 primetime MNF or TNF games in a row, including the horrid game vs Frisco in 94.  Its the same thing with NFL fans saying the Lions should be taken off Thanksgiving.

Cowboys overrated, but I checked their record vs. the Jets & I understand you being concerned.  This Jets team should win.  Chiefs, Fraudgers, & Eagles overrated.  Should be a Jets gimme.
