some real talk here. by themselves both projects are a little too diverse for my tastes, but the best tracks from both could combine to make a much more cohesive project. something that sounds like a modern/updated Rhythamalism.

Book of David is awesome, but i'm dissapointed it didn't stick to the 80's/r&b vibe a little more.

"Blaqkout", "Cream N ya Panties", "Fuck Y'all" and "The Appeal" would've fit nicely on TBOD, but I like the album the way it is. I only skip 3 songs on it (Across the map, time stands still, hydromatic) but everything else is great.

Beats on BoD are a little more polished than BlaQKout.

IMO lyrically Quik is light years better on Rhythmalism then the other 2 projects. He experimented with alot of different sounds on BOD and Blaqkout but for me Rhythmalism is a far superior project.

yeah his lyrics have taken a downturn, IMO these albums don't compare with Rhythalism or Safe and Sound

I've always thought of this. Each album has had strong tracks, and some seriously wack ones.. My album would look a little like this

1) Blaqkout
2) Indiscretions In The Back Of The Limo
3) Luv of My Life
4) Get Down
5) Ladies & Thugs
6) Pacific Coast Remix
7) The Appeal
8) Nobody
9) Fk Y'all
10) Fandango
11) Do U Know
12) Jet Set
13) So Compton
14) Cream In Ya Panties
15) Flow For Sale
16) Quik's Groove 9

Would have made a solid album... But selecting the best from 3 average-good albums is quite easy
