yeah i'm French and I tend to agree. one love to Papillon for the hook-up though but to be true i'm not fond of his collaborating with westcoast mc's. his rap doesn't blend well with the english language in general. i've listenened to pretty much the whole album and there are songs with dudes like mr criminal, bad azz, latoyia williams, mc eiht, goldie loc and others and it's always frustrating to get a bomb ass verse from say Eiht and then Papillon comes in and "ruins" (its a bit harsh but i cant come up with other words lol) it. but French gangsta shit can be quite entertaining, i'm not the biggest fan of their movement (the beats are always dope though) but some songs are a pretty good mixture of french subject matters and g-funk influences, but you have to get the lyrics to know that. just a couple songs that i think fit in this category :




then you have goofy/humorous sexual type songs kinda like 2nd II None and Dj Quik's (if u ain't fuckin, etc.)



Sovan's productions are on point though, he is extremely dope.

Yeah Sovan 's prod are dope ...... the Tracc with Mr shadow is bangin fo real ..... i like the Goldie loc's song too.. Papillon was not that annoying on this one and G.loc ripped it!!! As a french when u done listen to Playa or plaiiiia years from now u just cant listen to papillon again
