Tupac & Nas's Thugs Mansion



There's this hip-hop collective from Chicago that use more varied instrumentation, including but not limited to guitars, called Typical Cats.  They're pretty dope.  Following is What You Thought Hops, it's a cappella for the first 2 minutes and 20 seconds or so,



Members of Typical Cats also participated in I Was Born With Two Tongues and they released an album called Broken Speak but it's strays less from hip-hop and more spoken word.

Atmosphere has an acoustic version of one of their songs, Always Coming Back Home To You
