Flixx Readies New LP & Introduces Bobby Bang With Mixtape - By : Rud - June 14, 2011

Gardena, CA's own Flixx reminded me that its been exactly 6 years since we first covered him on Dubcnn when he released the acclaimed record Tha Dubb, produced by J Wells from his debut album "Politics & Pimpin."

Since then P-Flixx has gone on to form his own label Infirmary Records and built a small roster of artists who he's been working with over recent years. One artist on the roster is South Central representer Bobby Bang who we are formally introducting today with the release of his mixtape "Corner Sto Muzik Mixtape" which is hosted by DJ Cire of Coast2CoastMixtapes.

The project, which is in preparation for his debut album "Mary's Son" due in December, features Pimpin Young, S Kapone, Trishann, Mack Murda and more as well as a production from J Wells on the record "Patch' Em Up." As well as the full project lower down we have included "Patch' Em Up" as a sample record for you to check out.

"Corner Sto Muzik Mixtape" features two singles, "You Said It, You Right" and "Livin It Up" featuring Pimpin Young - both produced by BestPaul - for which videos are being shot by another Infirmary signee Fatso Fasano, who is also involved in the production of Snoop Dogg's "Uncle Junebug Show." Flixx is not only busy with Infirmary Records and the Bobby Bang project but he is also working on the follow up to his 2009 release Take Em 2 Da Infirmary with DJ-Age, which featured tracks including Everyday Activities with Stylistik Jones & Clinton Wayne and Hell 2 Heaven alongside Kurupt and Nire over a hypnotic J Wells beat.

"Take Em 2 Da Infirmary Volume 2" is due for release later this month but we've been sent the first taster off the project, "Kiss My Converse" featuring Bobby Bang over production from G-Black - listen below.
