Ice Cube's Death Certificate

I played it from the beginnin to the end while i was doin my Poly Scy notes, and man!!!

This is easily Ice Cubes best album, Top 5 West Coast album, and Top 10 Hip Hop album ever

Some of my friends who were introduced to it by me felt the production was kinda out dated but the lyrics are amazing. The concept is brilliant, this album had it all!

Your thoughts?
"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Definitely...15/10 absolute classic (I don't throw that word around with just anything either). Death side is the Ice Cube we all knew up until that point, the Ice Cube of You Can't Fade Me and Gangsta Gangsta, with storytelling like My Summer Vacation, jams like Steady Mobbin and cautionary tales like Look Who's Burnin. The Life side...whoa! The whole album Cube takes you on a journey through his mind, his hood, his feelings, no holds barred and done with dopeness and intelligence. The rhymes made you rewind, the concept made you say "damn" the realness made you feel as though you were looking out of his window. And then to top it off with No Vaseline!! Cube absolutely destroyed NWA one by one. Boogie Men production was great (I love that type of gangsta production anyway). This is the Ice Cube that made everyone say he could do no wrong, this is the Ice Cube that made people say that he fell off (!!) with Predator. And he was only 21/22 when doing that. This is why John Singleton said he could speak to the knuckleheads and the gods.

My 2nd favorite album ever (after Amerikkka's Most Wanted)

good lookin out homie...this board dont discuss this album much, truth be told, I prefer Chronic and Doggystyle simply cuz the production is flawless, but lyrically the only west coast album seein this is Soul on Ice, Makaveli,,,,(note: i said "seein" it, not better)

Yeah, I agree tech, it's his best album, plus, Cube could possibly be the greatest of all time (depending on how he ends his career, I guess).  My favorite track on there is "A bird in the hand", and the one about Martin Luther King Hospital.

I personally think "The Predator" is his best album to date, but hell, Cube has a few classics under his belt including this one, there's no fading most of his work.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.
