So, we all know that beefs in 2011 are mainly for publicity's sake, but shit, I must admit, they still work. I never really listened to Messy Marv before but I peeped that "Fuck Too Short" track and I thought it was really dope. Fly G-funk beat, tight lyrics and flow, I dug it. I like Too Short and I always will, but I will call a song dope when I hear it.

So somebody put me on, tell me what are Messy Marv's best songs - especially any with him over a G-Funk beat.

That's what i've liked about Mess. while peeps in the bay were doing hyphy shit, Mess kept coming with modern mobb music/g-funkish beats (even though he did a few hyphy cuts like that So Hood song with Guce).

if you ask me, Mess was dope in the 90's, Messy Situationz, death on a bitch, explosive mode with san quinn etc. but since you're asking for a particular type of songs i think you should listen to his music between 2002-2008, especially

Turf Politics (2002)
Bandannas, tattoos & tongue rings (2005)
Gettin' That Guac (2006)
What You Know Bout Me (2006)
Draped Up & Chipped Out (2007)
Cake & Ice Cream (2008) => the rapping part isn't as good as before but there are some very good productions

you should definitely check out his collabo albums with San Quinn "Explosive Mode" and "Explosive Mode - Back In Business" and collabo with Mitchy Slick "Messy Slick".
