One of my favorite albums of all times, definitely in my top 10 albums. Best produced album of all time? Nah, "Doggystyle" is better.

Dogg Food is definitely my favorite album of all time but to me Efil4zaggin tops the production list

It's a well produced album, but the four best produced albums of all time are:

1) Rhythm-al-ism
2) The Book of David
3) Makaveli 7 Day Theory
4) All Eyez on Me

Dogg Food is a great album, but the beats are too dark and dreary (excluding Let's Play House and some others). The above albums are much more diversified in their production.

It's pretty well established with that sound that the Chronic set the bar,
then Doggystyle was like a more polished version that topped the Chronic,
and Dogg Food is a pretty good attempt at trying to reach the bar, but not quite.

most of dogg foods' beats are bland and boring. even doc said that.

RAW, streetz is a mutha, & dillinger and young gotti all got better beats just out of dpg.

other then the innovative factor of mecca and the soul brother, main ingredient has much more developed lush beats.

Dogg Food is my favorite rap album of all time and I would consider Doggystyle as my favorite hip hop album of all time.  Just my opinion.
