-San Fran is for real. Detroit's last minute offense was disappointing. The scuffle between Schwartz-Harbaugh was hilarious.

-Philly still has a chance to win that division for sure. But the NFC East will only be sending one team to the playoffs, so they NEED to win that division.

The Colts are doing a better job proving that the title belongs to Peyton, and Aaron Rodgers is easily the best QB in the league this year so far. Dinking and dunking down the field against a tired Dallas D after the Dallas offense threw win the towel doesn't mean shit.


I really hope GB goes 19-0. And Indy goes 0-16. With Campbell out and the trade dealine looming I'd love to see Manning jump over to the Raiders. He'll be healthy for the Playoffs and Oakland may very well win it all.

I don't think you can keep both on the roster with the salary cap. How can you draft a guy at #1, pay him all that cash and sit him on the bench for 4 years. Rodgers sat and waited, but he wasn't the #1 pick with a #1 pick contract. I would have no problem with Peyton leaving and showing the world really how good Polian is at building a team, because even with Luck that Colts team would need a complete make over on the sidelines. Caldwell could make the 89 Niners have a losing season.

And Peyton could go to any team in the league next year and I garauntee they will have at least twice the wins that the Colts get next year.

He's matched Marino/Shula with over 30 less losses. He hasn't lost a regular season home game since 2006. All that with a far inferior defense than they had during the Superbowl years. You can't just throw anybody in there & accomplish those things. No doubt the Packers are the best team in football & I can honestly see them going 19-0, but their defense isn't statistically the worst in the NFL (like the Pats D). It's more like the ones that won the Pats those rings years ago.

He'd still be walking into a death trap. What Peyton does with the Colts offense only a handful of QBs in league history could do. won't prepare him for the distaster when he finally does start The Colts losing Peyton and starting from scratch with a brand new regime like Bill Cowher or John Gruden would and should draft Luck and build around him. But sitting on the bennch and watching Peyton won't prepare him for the disaster when he finally does start and gets crunched and by then he'd already be 4 years in the league and a new crop of homerun QBs will be coming out of college. If Luck was on the Colts this year they'd still be 0-6 right now. To quote Ray Lewis it's simply plain and simple a "very below average ball club".

I think Brees could do as good as Brady in NE but I don't think Brady could do as good in NO as Brees. Same with Ben. I'd even say that Cutler could do better on NE than Brady could on Chicago. Brady absolutely fucking sucks when under up the middle pressure. I mean he's not even decent by any NFL standards. Cutler still makes some things happen under that crumbling o-line.

Just look at Matt Cassel when he plays in that system and when he doesn't. Brady is definitely better than Cassel but in KC this year Brady, KC would still be 2 and 3 just they are with Matt. With Peyton (healthy) KC would have won at least two of their first three games. SD and either Buf or Detroit. And the same way I predicted 11-5 for NE is '08, and 11-5 for KC in '10, and a complete meltdown for the Colts in '11, is the same way I'm saying what I just said.


Eventually you're going to have to take my track record into account. Call my theory bogus but my predictions have come true. This year I said the Chiefs and cassel would crumble and they did. I said Orton wouldn't last more than a few games and that's what happened. And I predicted Buffalo to be a major player with a possible playoff spot waiting for them.

MVP candidate Brady has never actually lead his team to shit, and anything less than a superbowl ring is shit. The Pats won their Superbowls when Brady was still of a middle of the road role player QB. Did he even get any MVP votes during those 3 seasons? Did he deserve any?


He earned and deserved votes for his play in 05, 06, 07, and last year but the Pats never fared any better than the Colts those years.


That being said; the system is great for QBs with limitations to look amazing. We all saw the limitations Kyle Orton had, and cassel had his first year in KC and has now. But under the Wies/McDaniels Erhardt-Perkins they all look like studs, stat-wise.

The other aspect of the Pats is the o-line. It's simply put together better than most teams. Of course it's not appealing to say the Pats won 3 rings and had great later success by winning te line of scrimmage battle. It's very sexy to say the QB puts the team on it's back, but in reality Tom Brady doesn't put 40 guys in his back any more than Cassel did in 08.

It's simple; Brady is a great QB for a great team, but a terrible QB on a terrible team. Manning is a great QB on a great team and a great QB for a terrible team. And that's why the who's better discussion is as stupid as Dan Marino vs Jim Plunkett, who has two more rings than Marino.
