Tom Brady proved why he is the greatest player to ever grace the sporting World.
I wonder if they'd pick Luck. I don't know. Peyton still has three really good years left & at least five really solid seasons left, given he fully recovers. The only pro of drafting Luck is him sitting there & learning from one of the greatest QBs of all-time. The con would be he wouldn't play lol. It's not like they would disrespect Peyton & ever bench him. So it would make more sense to get the best possible defensive player in the draft or just get what will be the next great running back in the league in Trent Richardson. Then again, how do you pass on Andrew Luck?

Dinking and dunking down the field against a tired Dallas D after the Dallas offense threw win the towel doesn't mean shit.I really hope GB goes 19-0. And Indy goes 0-16. With Campbell out and the trade dealine looming I'd love to see Manning jump over to the Raiders. He'll be healthy for the Playoffs and Oakland may very well win it all.
How can you draft a guy at #1, pay him all that cash and sit him on the bench for 4 years?he wins that the Colts get next year.

He hasn't lost a regular season home game since 2006. All that with a far inferior defense than they had during the Superbowl years. You can't just throw anybody in there & accomplish those things. No doubt the Packers are the best team in football & I can honestly see them going 19-0, but their defense isn't statistically the worst in the NFL (like the Pats D). It's more like the ones that won the Pats those rings years ago.

I'm not a great system makes that star less credible guy. Jordan had the best system in the NBA in the 90s. You'll never hear me say he wasn't the best player as well. And I hated Jordan adn the Bulls. But a lot of QBs can throw dink and dunk passes to 6'8 TEs after sitting in the pocket for 5 seconds. There is nothing Tom Brady does that Aaron Rodgers cannot do himself. There's plenty Rodgers does that Brady simply cannot do.

There is nothing Tom Brady does that Aaron Rodgers cannot do himself. There's plenty Rodgers does that Brady simply cannot do.You clearly are a "great system makes a star less credible guy". Because under that system he's as good as Rodgers. If I was a GM? I'd pick Rodgers all day, I won't lie. But Brady is easily the second best QB in the NFL.
I mean, it's kind of simple. NFL teams have footage. Hours of it. If you told me if I did something one way it would work, almost guarenteed, why wouldn't I do it? Teams see it's the best offense in the league & don't try to mirror it at all? Pretty ridiculous, considering even a casual fan as yourself can break down the system..Clearly Bill runs things the way he does because of Brady. I'm not saying Peyton Manning couldn't do a similar job. I'd even say Drew could do it. But they don't, the stats show that. Sports is a stat driven thing. Legacies are built off of them & just because in your imagination you see Cam Newton winning ten MVPs & nine rings if he played with the current Pats team, doesn't mean he did it & doesn't mean we should just give him credit for doing it.Like you said, you wouldn't discredit Jordan, yet, you discredit Brady. Basically what you're saying is T-Mac or Vince Carter in their primes could of lead the Bulls to six rings. I mean Jordan had a great system right?
