i don't think the OP could be serious with that statement, the thread is a joke. lol @ the serious replies.

On an ordinary forum I would assume that but here....and you wonder why we clown some of the people here.

I honestly never understood the whole fascination with gangsta rap, especially if you lived alot of the Shit yourself.  Lamar is a knot mc he actually would have been nice in any era yell

Ok, ok I get everyone's opinions here. I agree-- Kendrick is a dope lyricist-- unrivaled lyrically by nearly all rappers out there currently.

I am a big fan of beats and instrumentals that go behind the artist. And the beats Kendrick spits on are A) not that great, and B) not that funky or soulful...

I'm going to say it: Kendrick is kind of like a Black Eminem-- he can spit a dope rap (although more intelligently than Eminem), but where's that smooth funky flow? I guess that's what I miss the most. He is a great & talented artist and I respect that he doesn't fake shit or be a studio gangster. I just aint feeling his beats that much.

If Dre picked him up and produced (or oversaw the production) of a Kendrick Lamar album, now THAT MIGHT BE TIGHT. But with all the wack (yes I said it) production on his songs, I'm sorry, I'm gonna call a spade a spade. I don't hear any top 40 beats in there. His voice can get a little annoying too, but it's bearable because of his intelligence and wit.

Dope MC. Wack beats.

listen to this, i luv gangsta rap as well, miss it but kendrick is tha shit.and to tell u tha truth i hate new music im stuck in 90´s but there are few cats that do it for me: game, nip huss, jay rock, kendrick THAT`S ALL.

It's aight. His lyrics are dope. But the beat is average, and his flow while on-spot, is lacking that rhythm and flow that I love so much from gangsta rap

Kendrick sounds nothing like Eminem. They have literally NOTHING in common.

Beat selection is the best feature of his albums for me. I hope his debut is produced by his team with few beats from big names like J. Cole or Just Blaze.

Rap is not real, I don't care what they told you,
Fake people say fake things in their vocalbooth
- Soul Position - Mic Control

I make it hard to read me, graffiti flow - Rakim - Word On The Streets

I don't think you know what a white person sounds like. Either you're trolling or incredibly ignorant.
