Grammys have always been a joke. They ignore indie artists completely and base their selections on radio spins and album sales instead of critical response. If the Oscars were like the Grammys all their nominations would be the big dumb summer blockbusters that everyone goes to see but get bad reviews. That said, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was a big deal on a mainstream level and they love Kanye West so its surprising they ignored him.

1. The album is great and a return to form for Kanye. One of his best in my opinion.

2. Why should a rap artist care about the grammys anyway? Kanye needs to stop worrying about what other people think about him and just continue to make great music. In music, an award from the grammys or any similar awards ceremony should NEVER be the pinnacle of a career. Sure, I bet its nice, but Kanye's legacy is secured without one.
