Which Emcee Always Comes out Hot On a Song?
« on: January 29, 2003, 10:48:03 PM »
There are a few emcees that always come hot on a song. Actually I can't really name one, so can y'all name one that is the most consistent.
Nah, maybe it's the bitches and the sunshine
Fool, it's the palm trees, cool breeze and one-time
This the home of ragtops and swimsuits
We wear Chuck Taylors, nigga, we don't fuck with Timb boots!

none, every emcee has at least one wack verse (king tee almost got an exception-he's really wack on the relativez's played like a piano 2003)

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
