lately, his trusted old formula is startin to get tired, i mean his shit fo xzibit will always be tight to me, but i heard it all before, its like the neptunes, they keep makin the same shit, n now dres doin this 2 and it startin to get a lil borin

i mean i still love dres production but it would be nice 2 hear sumthing of his style perfection shit on a new style thats dope

anyone feelin me?

yeah, I think its because dre has been involved with a lot of other projects after 2001 dropped ex: Eve, Bilal, Snoop, Eminem, Nate, Dj Quik, Truth, Xzibit, Rolling Stones, Busta Rhymes ... and so on. Cause after that everyone wanted to work with dre. Before 2001 he only had his Aftermath Compilation & that was it. So people was really lookin forward to some new Dr Dre.

I m still feelin Dre, no doubt but I also feel that others are gettin a lil bored. Maybe he needs to slow down a lil bit & concentrate on "one" BIG project like Detox or NWA.

Yeah I agree, the beatz get boring after a time, but I still bump and like them. I just hope that Detox will be different, it'd be fucked up if the album sounded like all those tracks, cause he said this will be different and somthing we've never heard before, best album ever etc...

well... i loved 2001 because of the new direction it took his production. the beats varied a lot in my mind. xxplosive seemed to have an almost "tropical beat" while whats the difference had a more raw industrious beat. i hope he carries this variety over to detox
