ive been listening to him for some time and ive also heard a few try and spit it from jail and i just can not seem to get over the shitty audio no matter how raw the lyrical content.


now with that said the last thing i heard with him on it was probably late 90s and i remember reading in murder dog that the technology they use is way tighter then his first couple releases but i was so put off by my initial jail house rap experiences tat i never cared to check.

i hated it when shyne did that shit and any other nigga thats rapped on the phone.


i think dude is incredibly clever to be able to flip a career like this in prison...i know this niggas books is FAT.

have u heard "unforgiven"? it was clear vocal quality, as well as most Raided albums that came after that...but "Unforgivin (Vol. 1)" is one of his best albums. check it out.

our shit is jail quality, cuz raided's equipment got confiscated last year...but like i said, his biggest and, imo, best album was recorded over the phone. u'd probably prefer "unforgiven" more based on what u said, though.

It's a tough sell because presentation is kind of crucial to the overall effect. You could take any great movie with the same script and actors and people behind the scenes and film it with a camera phone and that shit would just be mad off-putting to most. Music or film material can be raw but you need to hit a certain quality mark if you want it to reasonate.

^in most cases, yes...but like i said, if done right, shit can be bangin. just like "xorcist", which is a classic album, and "back n da hood", which is a personal favorite mac dre album of mine. if u bump those and u aint feelin em, fine, but those albums get bumped til this very day.

Psycho Active has always been my favourite album from X-raided, and that was recorded before he was in Jail so sound quality is great. Unforgiven vol 1 is good too.
