i just found this not sure if its been posted but if this is true that was a smart move indeed...Hip-hop has not seen a buzz like the one 50 Cent has generated since, well, Eminem's The Slim Shady LP. That's probably why bootleggers have already put the LP on the net. However, adding a twist to the scenario, word is that Interscope has duped the Net heads by releasing a fake version of Get Rich Or Die Trying. Look for these tracks to be included on the retail version: "50 Kills" f/Xzibit, "Tough Block" f/Eminem and DMX, "The Magic Stick" f/Trina, "Trauma Drama" f/Dr. Dre and Nate Dogg, "If I Knew" f/ Em & D12 and "Trouble In NYC" f/Rakim. Because of the bootlegging, Interscope has pushed the release date of the album up to February 6th - and yes, we will begin shipping on that date. Meanwhile, with Tony Yayo of the G Unit away serving some jail time, 50 has enlisted longtime friend, Wuteva, to join him on his promo tour. Wuteva is signed to Rockwilder and DJ Twinz's Muzik Park label. Lastly, anyone else worried that it took 50 Cent only four-months to record his Shady Records / AfterMath debut and Rakim has been signed/stagnant for nearly two-years? You know what we are fearing Dre - don't do it to us!

i totally believe this, when i heard the retail bootleg i was curious about it being real or not due to the 2 bonus trax and poor selection of tracks.
