L.A. is way larger than the Bay, and has been holding it down since West Coast Rap begun...

well if its MC wise...L.A. takes it...i got love for the bay...but in no way do they have the fire power of l.a....think about it...Abstract Rude, Aceyalone, Crooked I, Ras Kass, Phil Da Agony, Defari, L.A. Symphony, Fat Lip, Techniec, Chali 2na, Dialated Peoples, Nga Fsh, Mikah 9...the bay couldnt touch that...cuz L.A. has every rapper imagineable too...we got weed rappers(Cypress Hill)...gangstas(Tray Deee, Keitarock)...chicanos(Frost, Capone-E)...lyricists(see the list of rappers i made)...pimps(Suga Free)...Producer/rappers(Quik, Daz, Soopafly)...

Yeah, when it comes to that underground Emcee type shit I probably gotta say L.A... only thing holding me back is Hiero cuz they're some of my favorite emcees and they're from Oakland... and Blackalicious cuz they can spit some crazy shit too...

But I've alwayz had a soft spot for that BayArea/Oakland old school playa shit... Too Short, Dru Down, Tha Luniz, Celly Cell, E-40 & Tha Click, Ant Banks, Mac Mall, Digital Underground...shit even MC Hammer...

Andre Nickatina rippin shit up too... Saafir got some heat too...

I still gotta go with L.A just for tha fact that I can name more off tha top of my head... like tha people S.G.V listed and more...

True Oakland/Bay Area have a lot of tight hiphop artists, but ima go with LA untill someone distinctly amazing comes along an tears me from my love of peeps like cube, dilated peoples, etc...but all it takes is a bay area player to hit it off big time with the media....then we have a real competition with new flavors all the time.

True LA has a lot of talent but look at people from the bay such as C-Bo and Luniz, etc.  So its kinda hard to decide for me..... I still can't decide, lol
