the music doesnt hold any weight to creativity in Kurupts case IMO -
as it is very obvious, wit his recent bullshit on dope productions. -> only real lyricists around him moves him towards the right lane creatively (like Four Horsemen).
some of the best stuff he has ever written were recorded on lukewarm n mediocre instrumentals.
in fact, Kurupts verse on "XXplosive" sucked (altho it was funny), and that was a dope Dr Dre-beat.
Kurupt worked wit Pete Rock on his latest album (one of the best beats he ever rapped on), and he embarrased himself wit those verses. the shit he did wit J Dilla sucked.. the list goes on n on

like i said, the music doesnt have anything to do wit. he's almost washed up by now,tired as fuck,,, the music cant save him, only the energy from competition
wit other mc's (the reason he started rappin in the first place) --> the competitive nature, geniune collaborations wit bonafied mc's in studiobooths, the "show & prove"-mentality...
the best Kurupt verses recently, were probly "murder fitness", "poetry" and stuff like that tho. and the music wasnt all that or special.

Goofy Gmixxxs of Snoops shit dosn't count, I meant real hits from all coasts, outside of the camp (and I said 'like the gmixxes...not exclusively). And the Beep Beep track is obviously comedy, and different (like the Lollypop gmixx they did). Actually all the Dogghouse/DPG camp did some good stuff over others beats in the Chuuch mixtape era. Look that shit up.
