I remember seeing an interview with Snoop a while back where he said his next album was going to be called Snoopafly.  Was that supposed to be a Death Row album, or was that something that was to happen after he signed to No Limit?  I can't remember but I think it was on BET.

"Snoopafly" was supposed to be his next album on Death Row after "Doggfather"

I think all the tracks from the EP have leaked, right?

no

"Vapors" [Battlecat Remix] is the only one not available to the public but some people say it was out for a short period of time many years ago...

I thought the live version of "Vapors" w/Charlie Wilson was supposed to be on the EP? I think I have that version.

Unlikely as it's a recording of Snoop performing on Saturday Night Live.

It is possible though..

A live version was released on the "Vapors" CDS. I had just assumed that like the "Snoop Bounce (Remix)", "Snoop's Upside Ya Head (Remix)" and "Midnight Love", it was meant for Doggumentary.

not really man everybody knows some one who knew someone...shit some of us here claim to have suge and the crips AND bloods on speed dial lmao

i used to be deeply rooted into the flint hip hop scene and flint hip hop shared a special connection to the westcoast.

the chronic and mc breeds 2nd album was recorded at the same time and mc breed had access to all dr dres session players etc and he befrended the doc and erotic d colin wolfe among others so flint rappers made connections with cali rappers through breed and dfc which explains why warren g production and doc writing credits are all over dfc and mc breeds first albums.

mc breeds family had a group called DFC and a group called top authority were like offshoots of this family, i used to hook shit up for them and even carry records and speakers for them at shows so thats how i ended up meeting mc breed and dfc and doing security at a few esham natas shows and even chilling with the dayton family.

those credentials got me a job at the record store and there i would have to rub shoulders with distributors and other industry slime balls....this is before the internet shit was a real grind and being involved with it was a prideful thing

....off topic you have no idea how much work i put in to get a few cases of dazs first independent album raw in our store there was a big demand in the streets for some gangster shit this was in the bling era hip hop was getting soft and they sent us two copies of daz album...a cd i thought to only be available on the streets of cali so i swooped them up and bootlegged a few of them to my homies and next thing you know ppl are calling and asking for it etc creating a demand etc. daz and i go way back lol i tried hard to get directly ahold of him to get shows booked i always had to go through bigg a and never got any get back. i guess michigan was just too small time for a superstar like daz lmao...a few years later we were booking d12 and lloyd banks and g unit and shit.

That's still wasteful from a business perspective. Just because you remove songs doesn't mean you have to change the name of the album completely.

But that still seems odd as the early "Chronic 2000" ads also advertised Dre music so I don't think one was the reason for the other.

When the album was first announced as "Inside Out", there were no Dr. Dre tracks on it. When the name changed to "Chronic 2000", that's when the Dre tracks were initially put on the compilation.
