I feel like every single bracket ever comes down to Em vs. Pac.
Quote from: Chamillitary Click on March 29, 2012, 08:06:28 AMI feel like every single bracket ever comes down to Em vs. Pac.Strangely I was gonna agree that it should, but then I'm thinking about it and wouldn't it be better if it was Biggie/Em lyrically they are technically above 2pac. I mean what tupac perfected was his portray of imagery over the mic. But he still is a inferior Lyricist. Also I'm talking 2000 Eminem, not this I'm NOt afraid to make a radio friendly track pussy.lol @ the stans saying he better then all them, that's about as stupid as you can get. Ems entire style hell none of those dudes style wouldn't of existed if it weren't for N.W.A, and then N.W.A wouldn't of existed if it wasn't for Ice T, who's style (and track 6 in tha Mornin) wouldn't of existed if it wasn't for schoolly D. Ice T's track was infact a Parody of Schoollys Track "P.S.K. What does it mean" lot of west music usually was. Besides Eminems whole controversy angle came during Columbine/9/11 when the media was trash talking anything that included violence. Hollywood Critics had given low reviews to very good movies around that time, even games took a hit. Music by far took the greatest, rock, rap mostly (which isn't amazing because Rap is still the least listened to sub-genre in the over all music industry). I Think artist should only be compared to they Skill. Because their is artist who impacted the game, but weren't that lyrical on the mic.
imo 2Pac was more of a lyricist than Biggie. What Biggie excelled at was flow.
If you think the greatest rapper of all time is the one who has quotables such as "ill bisexually reck ya", "im out the closet i been lyin my ass off, all this time me and dre been fuckin with hats off", "bend over and take it like a slut, okay mom" then hiphop has been nothing short of a failure. If thats the case, Tyler the Creator > Nas. Lil B > Jay-Z.

Assuming that you like basketball, do you judge players like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant by their worst performances?I'm sure we can find stupid lines by any rapper, if we look for them.
