The thing that bothers me with NWA, is that the best rapper of them all isn't getting the same limelight & money as the rest.
MC Ren needs a higher profile, and I think he has deserved that.
Eazy, Dre & Cube got the shine, and now Snoops candy ass wants a piece of the pie too.

If Dre signs Ren too, there HAS to be a NWA-reunion coming..
They can't all do solo-projects and never even discuss NWA down at Aftermath..

I wouldn't care much for a new NWA album. (Although if they do make one, of course I'm coppin' it!) Eazy's dead and none of 'em are the young, get in trouble all the time -type anymore. But I'd love to hear another track like Hello, that brought back memories without spoiling the legacy.

Besides, there's other group projects we've been waiting for too many years already: WSC and 213.

Helter Skelter. It had me drooling from the first time I heard about it, and I was naive then so I thought "if they say it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen. How could it not?" Helter Skelter is the reason I knew NWA wasn't gonna drop a new album, so I never got my hopes up about that one. I'm still actually in shock that WSC came out, but I didn't believe it till I had it in my hands. If there was one album that I could have out of any unreleased/promised projects ever, it would be this one. Dre at his height (IMO) and Cube spitting aggressively over beats like NBK and You Can't See Me on the hottest label when the West was at its peak? DAMN!!

Oh yeah, back on topic, I'd rather have a solo Cube album than NWA, because I think that's more realistic and because I've been wanting a Cube album produced by Dre ever since '91.

How can some of you say you don't want a new NWA album. NWA are legends in the rap game just like Rakim

Do you guys remember that Quik interview awile ago when he was asked about the PPC(Penthouse Players Clique) and he said they were thinkin of doin a new album but with new members. The new generation. It was Hamms son and quiks cousin(i think) replacing the two OGs (Hamm and Tweed.)


This is exactly what NWA should do. Get some new talent thats straight up hardcore. Im not talkin 50 Cent and Knoc-Turn-Al. They need to find some hard ass rappers that are still livin like NWA did 15 years ago. This way they'll have fire in em and theyll have real issues to talk about. I dont wanna hear about Dres money or Cube goin to the club. All these guys can rap about now is how theyve gone from nothing to something. But 15 years ago they werent rich and they had a flame in them that made them make hard records. They cant do that anymore. Sooner or later we'll be hearing about hip problems and how their backs keep goin out. Lets face it, theyre getting old. Its time to move on to some new westcoast talent. But it has to be hard. Cube-10-years-ago hard. Not some laid back dude that cant stay on beat. Of course Dre would produce it all and the OGs would make guest apperinces.

The thing ya gotta understand about Ice Cube (my second favorite of all time, mind you) is that


1. What he says ain't always legit.
2. What he speaks on he doesn't always have control over


He's been caught up in so many lies before it ain't even funny.  He said before that NWA had almost finished the album, later we find out they made just a few tracks, and he wasn't even there.  He said Dre wouldn't give him any beats for "Peace", we find out from Dre he gave him a DAT with 5 complete tracks on it months before.   He said Dre was gonna appear in Next Friday as Cube's drug dealer, never happened.  


I ain't hatin, I"m just saying you can't always trust what he says... I think he gets excited about stuff and talks before he thinks about it, but he has good intentions.  So when he's saying it's dre's fault that nwa ain't happening, I dunno if I'd believe that.  Also, Suge Knight's said before he owned the NWA name, Ruthless you know would bitch and want money, Aftermath would want money, Yella/Ren/Doggystyle/Aftermath/whoeverthedistributorwouldbe(priority) would all want money.  So who knows? It's not all in Cube or Dre's control.
