I think he's already just as big as Banks in his prime now. But you could be right about the rest tho. And I don't think Ross is losing steam, not even but he fucked up staggering "Bag Of Money" by putting T Pain on there, he just brings the song all of the way down (even if he only used his for the "strip club" vibe).
I think its comparable between Rick Ross today and 50 Cent back in the day in general terms. Same as his crew, except IMO they're better with the exceptions of Stalley and Omarion. Just compare their hotstreaks to each other. 50 came up under Dre and Eminem, Ross came up by himself so there's an edge he had, I'm not trying to give the Handicap to Ross but it counts, he had the greatest machine behind him at the time. Niggas are riding around CRANKIN Rick Ross and MMG, it's not even close with 50 and G Unit. You probably couldn't even name anybody on GUnit other than probably Banks (and maybe Kidd Kidd)If you're going to compare 2003 to 2012 i'd say that they're very similar (both Banks and Meek). And if I'm not wrong both Meek Mill and Stalley are doing shows in Europe right now or soon to be. I don't know how big the venues are and if they've sold out or not but they're still doing shows over there and elsewhere.
So we're not going to count the machine?I think "get rich or die trying" has u gassed. U forgot that when "tha massacre" came out it got mixed reviews and it sold becuz of the GUnit HYPE. I know what you're trying to say but Ross has the streets on lock, 50 hasn't done that since right around "Buck The World". I'm not minimalizing his accolades but 50 had the BIGGEST machine behind him with Interscope and Aftermath, Jeezy and Ross were saved Def Jam from falling under and now Def Jam is bigger than Interscope and Aftermath (in Hip Hop)Rick Ross is a household name all across the hood. Wale helped usher in poetry in today's mainstream rap, Meek Mill has the streets on fire. I think you're reaching saying that Meek Mill hasn't reiching the same level as Banks.
Ross and Jeezy saved a label, you coulda been ANYBODY damn near and did numbers on Aftermath.
