pats loss was hilarious

Tom Brady isn't as good as Eli and today shows it...Eli drives his team to a game winning TOUCHDOWN while Brady leaves his teams fate into the kickers hands (As always)

I had Arizona against the 14 point spread all week, but I didn't predict a Pats loss. New England has a long history of taking certain weeks for granted. Brady didn't even play all that bad; he just didn't have his guys wide open in the middle of the field. Losing Hernandez hurt in that department, and they better hope Gronk never gets hurt too, because then they'll be in real trouble. Not sure if NE will lose two in a row though, especially after Flacco's pitiful display yesterday.

All in all I saw some really inept play calling all day yesterday from a lot of teams. It's like the OCs didn't know the situations they were in. Most notably the fumble at the end of the Pats game. It's 3rd and very long and all you really want is to kill the clock. Why the fuck would you risk a pitch out to an RB, a rookie RB, when all you really have to do is kneel and punt.

3 very bonehead INT by Manning were the difference in that one, and I can't justify the attempt on any of them. Nolan made it clear he was taking away the deep part of that field, and Peyton had no business forcing it. Each one was worse than the last because of how much more he should have expected. Had Manning just taken what the defense gave him the Broncos could have ran away with this one.

I hope this serves as a learning tool. The offense in general needs to get more in synch but that's to be expected. What is also to be expected is Manning playing smart. It's not like they were mis-thrown balls. They were simply balls that shouldn't have been thrown in the first place.
