You could really see that they was having fun and those perms were straight marvellous. Sometimes I wish the old style back even tho im not stuck in the 90's. but imo this is the best video quik and free have ever recorded, regardless of "if u stay ready" or whatever.

yeah man, this song is still a banger.  it really does eptiomize quik's genius.  making a song that sounds familiar yet new at the same time.  that synth gives it an 80s feel and that funky guitar could be placed anywhere between the decades of the 70s and today.  combine that with the dope singing on the hook and quik's mastery on the mix....that joint is the jam.  i agree the album doesn't have the same replay value as most of his others, but this and a few other songs from the album are real gems.

This is my favorite song right now.  It's been for a while, classic.  You guys are crazy about the rest of the album, The Book Of David has plenty of replay, that whole album is great.  Quik & Free do need to make an album together though.

still dissapointed that 'fresher than me' wasn't released. that woulda been a standout joint from BOD for the pure funk factor

I think you can find the instrumental in pre-mix quality version on YouTube. I'll upload it when I get a sec. I got it from here so I reckon someone else will be a bit quicker than me. By the way, the link for the mediafire video mix doesn't work, can you upload it elsewhere? I ripped my own version but would like to hear a different one.

its the full quality album version with the outro from the video edited in. a noticable drop in quality for the video part and i couldn't make it as loud without losing further quality. better than the whole track being in low quality IMO.
