  • COMPTONS MOST WANTED
I saw the tracklist to the new Kendrick Lamar record and was very suprised to see that MC Eiht is on it. I think this news deserves a thread of its own.

Last time i heard of MC Eiht was with the group Warzone and the song "Candy (drippin likke water)" wich i knew neva would blow up.

So, when record companies do all they can to sell the "records" with Mary J Blidge and Lady Gaga.. and no one from the Black Hippie crew is to be seen, your favorite 45 year old "washed up" rapper MC Eiht makes it. The reason? ofcourse its compton... but MC Eiht aint even on your top 10 list of favorite compton-rappers?

The reason MC EIHT is on the record is proberly because he have inspired Kendrick alot... as MC Eiht was one of the first GANGSTAS rappin over eastcoast/jazzy beats.. and there was somthing about Eiht's lyrical content.. not very much cursing, very soulfull ( almost Motown style in the lyrics ) about beeing a young man growing up in a weird society.. MC EIHT was rappin alot about his generation..

the biggest hits was;

Growin up in the hood
Hood took me under
Streiht up menace

After all, maybe its all make sense. Anyways, i just wanna give cred to Eiht for all he have done for the west... i mean, damn.. im tired of hearin how "washed up" he is..  damn, dude is a legend, will be cool to se him gettin another gold record after all these years!  Lissen to thuggin it up n blaze a fat one right now 8)
