Kendrick’s New Album, good kid, m.A.A.d city hits #2 on iTunes

As you can see Kendrick’s new album is right behind the #1 spot Taylor Swift.  The good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe) is the at #2 as well as the non-deluxe version coming in at #9.

Congrats Kendrick on having such a STRONG opening day for your debut album!  If you have yet to listen to Kendrick Lamar new album you have no idea what you are missing!

Now let’s do our part fans and get him to knock Taylor Swift off the #1 spot and secure our boy…The King of the WEST!

Kendrick is definitely doing the damn thing. I went to 2 Targets in the LA area yesterday and were both sold out of the deluxe version. I ended up buying my copy online.

This definitely a good look for west coast hip-hop and hiphop and general. Meek Mill album come out week and that's going to be two huge lyrical releases back to back.

Swimming Pools has potential to blow up. Hopefully he'll continue to sell good after he drops the next singles. I think Wiz did 200K first week with Rolling Papers. So Kendricks numbers are iimpressive, he didn't have a "Black & Yellow" single.

Those are insanely good numbers. That's pretty much on buzz alone given the lack of airplay. I had my hopes up for a 150k debut but would have settled for anything over 100k.  Close to 250k exceeds my wildest expectations.

Best hip-hop album in a long ass time.

I think Poetic Justice will be the next single, Will probably get a bit of buzz from the Drake fans also! The album is brilliant and them number for the first week are fantastic!
