Kendrick selling as much as Nicki Minaj really says something...on the other hand this dude named Meek Mill is projected to do close to 200k, never heard of him

Kendrick deserves it. That's for sure.

Six months ago I was pretty much done with hip-hop. I've never been an exclusive hip-hop head as such, such a fan of lots of types of music, with hip-hop being one of them. At that point I just felt that hip-hop had gotten stale and was dying. Since then Nas has put out "Life Is Good" and Kendrick has put out the best hip-hop album in at least 6 years. It appears that hip-hop ain't dead yet.

B.o.B wouldnt have been the B.o.B he is today doing the type of branding he's doing simple and plain.  U can argue hypotheticals all u want but he wouldnt have been so widely accepted by Hip Hop back then.  Thats not a slight at his talent and ability becuz i genuinely believe he's gifted but he wouldnt have survived that climate as a mainstream solo act back then period.
