Because he died when these youn fans where still listening to the "mini pops"...

Pac died only a year after...and EVERYBODY knws Pac....even lil kids..ask em who eazy is, they'll be like  ??? ???

did pac "contribute" more to the Westcoast rap scene or even rap scene in general then Eazy E did?.....hmmm..
hell no. eazy gave him and others the platform to make the music they made. had it not been for ruthless records the west coast scene even as we know it today wouldn't be what it is.

I think a big reason that Eazy isn't as recognized as he should be is because Ruthless did a piss poor job of carrying on his legacy after he died.
yeah but what he contributed shouldn't be forgotten.

This.

Dude started the careers of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Bone Thugs and Will.I.Am, most of whom went on to start the careers of other big artists, and left his mark on hip hop. A mark few ever see.

True. pac got posthumous albums, documentarys, merchandise etc. But we can't deny that even tho eazy was a rapper he stayed in the background more with the business and everything. lesser interviews Comparing to pac. eazy was also more "underground" if y'all know what i mean. He diddent get the same exposure like pac with the rapecharge and all that controversy. he also died a natural death, if we compare with pac who was murdered. And the killer was never brought to justice. That sparks so much more. When someone dont get that much exposure in the mainstream media people tend to forget that person much faster. And all rapfans arent hardcore rapfans, maybe more casual listeners.

But i agree its still a bit strange when you look at what he accomplished in his short time... and the imprint he actually did.

I think he doesn't get discussed here because there's nothing to fight about.

If you think about other legends it's mainly things like "did Dre take credit for other's work or not", "was Pac real or a fake ballerina", "did Cube rip everyone he worked with off ", "Snoop is shit nowadays" and so on that the topics are about.

With Eazy everyone just agrees and there's no point for a thread where everyone just goes "yup".

Tomica should offer to give Dre access to whatever material Eazy has in the vault and see if he can do something with Eazy's vocals for Detox. Eazy rapped about smoking and drinking a fair amount so maybe there's something that would work for Detox.

I can't think of anything bigger than a Dre and Eazy "reunion track" for Eazy's legacy at this point. That's only if the track comes out proper though, which is no guarantee.

dude he had a record company and at one point was gonna sign pac and his group.

and he didnt lol cuz he knew ruthless was going under. eazy had ONE group that people cared about. bone thugs. he woulda rode them to bankruptcy. i think eazy woulda flourished regardless in someway to stay in the mix somehow like damon dash was kinda doing. but the thing that separated eazy from other is that he made pretty good music and ran his own company and put out records. but how many of those records weree selling. blood of abraham, that girl group menajatwa or something, kid frost, brownside, ATL i mean they were barely selling and had a shitty distribution deal. thats why it's so hard for us to find old ruthless records albums. like steffons trippin with no luggage

please dont reply with a long response lmao im just sayin tho eazy was a big star but not as big as people thought or thinks he deserves. he would have stayed in the spotlight like ice t.

can you imagine an old azz eazy e now having a reality show on VH1  Eazierr Said Than Dunn lmao his career would have gone downhill.
