Loved this track since 97.

Only thing that has always made me wonder if Pac  was a bit too high at the time of writing his verse, is when he says "niggaz dream of six figures handle our business in choppers"...million is 7 figures. Maybe he meant 6 zero's? confused? I dont know.

Anyone else ever notice this.

maybe he was high (i think he was high most of the time at the end of his life), but even sober you can tell that he didn't really put any effort into this verse, so i'm sure he didn't give a fuck being accurate or not, and that's what's good about his verse : the feeling of rush and urgency in his flow. then Bila takes over and finishes off the songs with a simplistic yet dope verse.

by the way D-Shot's album (released the same year) was titled 6 figures, so i'm guessing when they mean 6 figures they talk about the 0's, like WC when he says "i'm busting million dollar raps and six digit checks" on Better Days

Or im pretty sure they're getting paid in 6 figures. remember this is the 90s, theres no way a rapper like WC was EVER getting 7 figure checks

E-40 signed a multi million dollar deal with Jive in 94, dude was getting $ 1mil for each album upfront (no advance, he was paid  by Jive not to put out his albums independently), and Cash Money followed suit a signed one of the best deals ever in 1998. the power between artists and labels had already started shifting.
