well while i agree Flacco is over rated he DID win 4 playoff games and the SB


with that said i fail to see what seperates him from the top 5 QBs  (the 2 Mannings, Rodgers, Brady Brees)

Hard to say, he's been mediocre during the regular season but has been good in the playoffs in general. Doesn't deserve that much money, but this just sets a new precedent, he won't be the highest paid for long.

If you're referring to done winning SB's its because their core players on defense are old.  And him demanding too much millions.  Flacco has won playoff games every season he's played.  Is he Brees good?  In Flacco I trust, but HELL NO!  Is it because i've been a Brees fan since Purdue?  Perhaps.  Flacco is the best qb in Ravens history, Cunningham 2nd but he's not $20 million a year good.  But I feel that him breaking the bank & being highest paid was more important than taking about 15 mil. & getting free agents to fill in holes    And no Reed ain't doing a Ray Allen like John Clayton keeps saying.  I don't think there's a free agent LB that can replace Ray Lewis.  I doubt they'll repeat anyway.

Throw in Champ Bailey have the worst game of his career. Flacco threw 3 bad balls that should ave been picked had Denver let Leonhard play single high safety they would have picked, and that move by Del Rio was the 30 million dollar difference maker for Flacco.

This could end up a real disaster for the team. At least Brady was smart enough to know his bread and butter and took pay cuts so he wasn't forced to really carry a team, and even lucked out by people still thinking he did. If Ed Reed leaves it'll be even worse but with Ray we'll see how much Joe can really carry, and I don't think much.
