No conspiracy theory, I see how this forum works. Kendrick Lamar is the best thing the West has seen in a decade and he got mass amounts of hate on this forum. Why? Cause he's not super gangsta. I can pull up a post of mine from 2009 when I told the forum that Kendrick is the next big thing and that if more from the West took up his sound, we'd be back in the limelight. People thought I was crazy. I know for a fact a lot of y'all (mostly non-Cali residents) hate on Kendrick.

But I will tell you this - Cali loves Tyga. I see it everyday, he sells out shows, I hear tons knocking Tyga on the streets. Same with Kendrick. Who is SHITTING on Tyga? I'd like you to give me 3 serious rappers.

And the person who said the new West stole Tyga's sound - 100% truth. It's the reason why Problem has been around for 6 years, and even with a giant Snoop co-sign early on, he never caught on until right now. And even so, he's not even close to Tyga or Kendrick. Like I said, Tyga hardly fucks with Cash Money, he totally has his own image and sound and is rarely on their tracks. He doesn't need Wayne on his tracks to do big things, he's proven it.

Back in 2009 nobody knew he will blow up they way he did, because there were other New West cats standing in the first place to the spotlight. Bishop was still with the Aftermath, Glasses was coming, Jay Rock and Nipsey were still signed to the majors, so it's obviously people were picking some of these cats to blow up in the first place - not Kendrick, who wasen't even established at that time.
Yes he did created a huge buzz on his own with "Section.80" but it was signed with Dre & Aftermath, who took his buzz to another level and his publicity went thru the roof with that one. You didn't expected Kendrick having apperances on Jimmy Kimmel show after "Section.80" dropped, would you?

Fact is, is a giant like Interscope and Aftermath is backing you up, you will benefit from it no matter what. In Kendrick's case, we should thank God Dre wasen't so stupid, like he was with Bishop, sitting on him all those years, making him record tons of songs and not doing nothing with it.

Now as far as Nipsey goes. I personally like some songs on "TMC", although I still think it was a rushed project and it wasen't as good as "The Marathon". But if he can make bangers like "Run A Lap" or "Forever On Some Fly Shit" or "I Need That" - I'm all in. Nipsey get's shitted on mostly because he's taking way too long to drop an actual album, not because he's trying new things, that obviously don't work for everybody and they def ain't working for him.

The MAIN problem with this forum is people from Cali can't stand for some reason, that someone can still listen to a classic West Coast record and have fun with it, like he did back in the 90's. I was on various forums and only duded on Dubcc have a problem with it. East Coast fans ain't mad someone can listen to ASAP Rocky and Rakim at the same time and enjoy themself. People in the South don't have problem listening to T.I.'s new record and Scarface at the same time and enjoy themself. But for some reason, being a West Coast fan is wrong if you still listen to a G-Funk record in 2013.
