Whats next for Snoop?

Snoop Dogg never "turned into" Snoop Lion. That was something A&E came up with and then got (re-)published all over mainstream media.

Calvin Broadus just decided to create a new product, "Snoop Lion". So that he could sell shows to events with children and grandmothers, where songs like "Bitches Ain't Shit" would not be appropriate. Maybe to have some fun doing music in another genre too. This was not a replacement but just another product to the catalog. "Snoop Dogg" shows with all the "inappropriate" songs were/are still available for booking.

The plan seemed pretty good but eventually failed because the Snoop Lion album is trash, musically. Nobody wants to hear music just because it's suitable for all ages, or "in another genre", it has to be good too.

It's pretty certain that new "Snoop Dogg" material will be recorded. Maybe new "Snoop Lion" material too but I kinda doubt it, a "DJ Snoopadelic" dance album or something like that seems more likely.

Yeah and your 45 IQ havin ass does? I think it's you who doesn't understand the record business, particularly major labels. When "artists" sign their deals, they basically agree to the label having full creative control.
