Black C of RBL Posse Underated As A Producer?
« on: May 27, 2013, 05:54:13 PM »
up until id say 98' his beats started to sound average but from 92' to 97' he was droppin nothing but heat for the whole bay area! like he was the opposite of Ant Banks across the bay. Banks with the super smooth shit and black C with nothin but goon shit!

I always felt he had his own signature sound with those claps that alot of westcoast beats still use(battlecat for example)

What are your thoughts on Black C as a producer? you think e's just another bay area artist or a nigga that had real talent.

these are some of my fav tracks produced by black c. check'em out ya might be suprised lol

RBL Posse - Serve On (Remix)

T-Lowe - Keep It Real Feat. Black C & Primo

Hitman - Cut 'em By The LB(this one gets me hyped forreal goon shit)

N.O.H Mafia - Now They Wanna Jock Me(toooo dope and this one is actually smooth)

Guce - Check Yo Self Feat. RBL Posse(this one bring back memories)

feel free to add on my niggaz i know im not the only one on rbl or even bay area for that matter. bouli my nigga where u at haha

nah DJ Switch did the scratches, Black C produced the whole thing except for G's by the 1,2,3 produced by T.C. (Frisco's dopest producer)

Bammer Weed was way ahead of its time.

Bounce To This was sick as fuck too with Sway at the beginning in the video, but I think it was produced by Cellski, gotta check my copy. come to think of it Frisco had sick rappers/producers

i always assumed he produced it until i read the credits wrong...but no doubt, he's not recognized for his production as much as he should be.

black c was originally trying to be a producer and not even rap. i grew up listening to rbl, i love that shit but at the same time he cant really go outside of his sound at all

The blood gang embraces Tupac as a member even if YOU dont.

that's the problem with most frisco producers, it's a blessing and a curse. matter of fact it's the problem with most of the gangsta bay area scene. a lot of dope but one dimensional shit. one producer I give props to for always evolving and coming with dope productions throughout the years is Sean-T, that dude is a beast if you check his resume and listen to his catalog he always tried to adapt and came with musical shit.

it's a Marvin Gaye song that was also sampled by Daz for the OG version of Keep It Gangsta.
