DJ Quik = Hip Hop's most complete artist?

this is arguable but overall im goin with him, hes the most complete and talented, he plays all of his instruments, he writes his own lyrics, he raps, he produces, hes brought up other artists, and made a name for himself with no help, and has so much diversity in his music, from jazzy vibes to indian beats to regae to ol school hip hop. and has never dropped an album below 4 mics.

dont get it twisted, im not sayin hes the best producer, im sayin he is the most complete, all around artist in hip hop., what are your thoughts?

and oh yea MAY is DJ QUIK appreciation month, so bump a lot of quik then and put up ya quik avatars then, for now go cop his new DVD that comes out tomorrow called Visualism

and more shit i forgot to mention, hes one fuckin tight ass Live performer, he puts on a fuckin SHOW, and hes one underatted lyricist, he has some dope ass lines and an amazing flow, he can rap fast as fuck if he wants or slow.

Dirtydogg213: well last year, around may everyone was hypin the new dj quik album comin out, and so i was hyped too, and i remember quik always wears these red type of sweaters or whatever, and my dad had somethin like that, and i had a cold, and i wore it a lot and went to sleep, and i really got good sleep and woke up early in the mornings in may for the first time by myself without havin my mom have to come and wake me up with trouble,  and it was sunny, so i got up myself and i wore the quik sweater while asleep, and i bumped a lot of quik that month, and i dunno, it was just a QUIK MONTH, it went by quik too

I agree wit Doggy....Quik is the most comlpete artist u can get....Go out and support him tomorrow by picking up the dvd..Anywayz, there will never be another Artist as much skill as Quik and what really pisses me off is that he barley gets reconized for his accomplishments and skill that he has.

And its kinda sad hes retiring cuz he aint gonna release any more music. No matter What i will forever bump Quik.

Y'all know my thoughts. My favorite producer and living rapper (Pac is my fav all-time). Ain't nobody fuckin with Quik. I mean who else can do tracks as diverse as his, from El DeBarge to Mausberg. Dude's a genius.

I'm dying to get that DVD, I need to buy a dvd player first tho

I agree with everything except this.  I'm sure he knows how to play all of his instruments, but he doesn't always play them.  He uses a production team sometimes too.  Remember G-One?
