any music from NorCal in the 90's had good distribution throughout the south and the midwest. Brotha Lynch was the leader of a movement, he's not your average sacramento rapper like say J Macc or Homicide, him & C-Bo were the two most famous rappers from Sac. If Master P put him on the Bout It Bout It soundtrack (platinum selling album), and peeps like DJ Screw remixed him, best believe a lot of rap fans outside of Sac knows who he is, especially with his latest albums which have had good publicity thanks to Strange and sold pretty well.
