I just saw this movie, and I still have a lot of questions. I hope someone can give me some insight on what the think are the answers:

How was the tape made?  

Would people who watched it die because of the girl?

Who was to blame?  The girl, mother or father?

What is the ending about?

The tape was made because the lil girl has ESP powers and it was made to spread evil.

Yes.

The Girl

If you make a copy of the tape you don't die. Thats why she lived and at the end the lil kid makes a copy so he lives.

This movie is just...messed up. The trailer creeped me out, the movie even more so. I no longer watch TV, or tapes. I blinde dmyself, cut off my arms and legs, and now pray to God he will defend me from Rosie O'Donnel tapes. We are talking about that movie where Rosie O'Donnel gets married, aren't we?

OH...so they only reason the boy and women didnt die is cause they made a copy?!

I thought it was cause they helped her in the well.  LIke the women went down there and sort of 'set her free' right?

The guy really didn't do anything so she killed him.

Also, why is SHE crazy?  Is it cause she was alienated by the mother and father?

Yeah that's why this movie is a trip, Cuz you watch movies like 6th Sense, Fear.Com, Stir Of Echoes and shit like that and they usually find the corpse and things get better. But in this movie, it turned out the girl was Evil and they were better off not finding her at all. In the movie they said she "Just wanted to be heard"... so I guess if you record her tape and show it to someone else you're safe.









Some trippy shit... I was driving to work tha day after I saw the Ring, Day 2, I was stoned, and on tha way to work I see this ladder leaning against this building, with no one around!... WHOA!!!  :o  crazy huh...

It's not cause they made a copy of it... see here's the thing, the only way you will live is if you make another person watch the tape, and the only way he/she could live, is if that person makes ANOTHER person watch the movie. In other words, it's a "chain" tape, and the girl inside wants everyone to see what happened to her, and should you choose not spread it to others, she's gonna kill you.
That's why the main character wasn't in danger throughout the movie, cause she made her friend watch it (that guy over there), and he ended up getting killed. And at the end, when she says to the little kid that he's gonna be OK, it's cause she's watching the tape for him, so that the kid won't be in any more danger.

^^^ That aint right, at tha end they were making a copy right? I dont think they'd be able to fool tha ghost that easy... it's a chain tape so he's either gotta show someone new the tape, so I guess he was making a copy..





Murrow, How did she make the tape? I dont really get it either, I think it's cuz, remember how in the other tape, where they're talkin to tha girl, the Doctor keeps asking her How she made these pictures... they were these black photo type pictures of a horse and shit like that... I guess her power had something to do with gettin images on those types of pictures, same shit they use to make movies... that's what I think.

Thanks guys.  This is making a lot more sense.  I guys the girl did have some kind of sickness/gift like ESp and that is how she made the tape.  

Some more things...

Why did they all get bloody noses?

What's up with the symbolism of the horse on the shore etc?

All the events in the movie werre portrayed on the tape..The horse fallin overboard is on the tape.....The horse on the shore symbolizes all the horses
killin them selves cuz the girl.
