Just incase anybody was wondering.  DOM KENNEDY was the nigga who barely missed the cut-off.  He'd be at #11 if I was making a list that long.

But luckily for Mr. Kennedy.  That will probably (more than likely) change in the near future.  As long as he stays true to HIS SOUND and his style then I'll always be a Fan/Supporter.

"Get Home Safely" solidifies it for Me.  I'm putting a pressure on Dom to keep true.

Yeah his lyrics ain't all that but his INSTRUMENTALS are (alot of them).  I like Dom.  I think Me and him have a similar ear.  Just like Me and Diddy with the "Last Train To Paris" album....

i think it's unfair to say that Dom's lyrics aren't "all that". they're simplistic but he's adamant about how he writes and you can feel it. it's not like he put random rhymes together ala Master P, his style is actually carefully crafted and his lyrics, albeit simplistic, aren't terrible contrary to a lot of westcoast rappers whose lyrics aren't their main focus.

like people shitted on his verse on Gibbs' "walk in wit the mo" cause he kept rhymin "shit" with "shit" but his verse was full of wordplays and intricate rhymes

"The right then left niggas rumbled and shit
I got on red bet he think I'm from the jungles and shit
Nasty like my brother named Jungle and shit
Ay Other People Money make double and shit
This me and gangster Gibbs you in trouble ya dig?"

still haven't checked get home safely though, i been sleepin a LOT lately, haven't heard a new release since august 2K13 I think

I feel u about his lyrics... I never said I hated them.  If I did I wouldn't have put him on the list.  He wouldn't even be near it.

but check out "Get Home Safely".  I promise you that u won't be dissapointed.  There's atleast 9 joints on there that you're sure to like.  The instrumentals anyway

Gibbs be gettin' slept on.

But I will say I hope he doesn't suffer from departing with Jeezy.  That's how it usually happens to most Rappers.  Their beats/instrumentals will start to get weaker and weaker, they'll lose the proper promo they had, or they'll lose interest (or their writers) and it will show in the music.  I'm hoping for the best
