For sure yes. Pac gained milions of dollars but died with 100,000$ on account :) He payed for lawyers, charites and his homies's verses. He didn't chaet anyone - like Dre did this with J-Flexx, Eazy with Cube and Dre etc.

Did TUPAC himself pay them?  Probably, just giving them some under-the-table money from whatever he was getting from Death Row.  It was said that he paid for the apartment(s) that they had in LA and bought them the Suburban that they all used.

But the Outlawz weren't signed to Death Row (at least not until after Pac died) and didn't really have a recording contract at the time (though I think there may have been something for Dramacydal that kind of got swept under the rug), so it's not like there was anything official saying that they get paid X-amount for doing whatever work on whichever album.  And it's not like they had a real manager or a lawyer looking out for their interests, so it was just Pac giving them money out of his own pocket.

With Death Row?  No... but that's because he was already signed elsewhere.  I forgot who, but it was some tiny ass label.

Doubt it. These rapper friends almost never pay each other. Do you think Daz & Kurupt pay each other for verses?

Plus Pac was single-handedly the biggest star in the entertainment business. The amount of publicity they were getting was worth more than their $1,000 price tags.

I'm pretty sure Pac had them paid for their songs on AEOM but not the 500 unreleased songs they all did

But with Daz and Kurupt, they do a lot for each other, musically.  Plus they both have their own record deals and money coming in from them.  With Pac and the Outlawz, he was giving them opportunities, more so than it being a mutual relationship, business-wise... contrasting to what E-40 said about Pac how he never charged him but just traded verses every so often for each other's solo projects.

Thats usually what goes on tho.

Ex: 50 said he got Kanye to appear on Lloyd Banks album by agreeing to do a verse for Pusha T's album. Favor for a favor happens A LOT with these guys.

He most definitely was not.
