or another football league?

he got a real raw deal in the NFL and i'll never root for the Faguars for never going after him.  dude isn't Peyton Manning or anything but he deserved another shot.  oh well.  future sports analyst it is.

He can still give Canada or the Arena league a run. He's not so old. Don't know if it was arrogance or just being hopeful that made him say NFL or Bust.

Arrogance & ego.  Not very christian like of a person  ;)  And he flat out refuses to play another position.  Copying Kordell Stewart & Terrelle Pryor....not very smart.

Isn't ESPN making him an analyst this fall to cover the SEC? Better gig than the CFL lol.

At his current age, it's a smart move. If he goes to the CFL & fails, he looks even worse & wouldn't ever get looked at. If in 2-3 years, he gives it up, then I can see him playing CFL.

What I do think he's actually arrogant about is telling the NFL he refuses to play any other position but quarterback. If a coach sees him as a valuable option somewhere else on offense, he needs to take that job and run. Outside of Skip Bayless looking to stand out & stay relevant, everyone who breaks down sports accepts he could be one of the worst QB's to ever play. He needs to take a backup TE job & run.

I dunno, I never liked Tebow at Florida but I don't really have a problem with him refusing to switch positions. It's what he's done his whole life and that's what he's committed to. And it's not like the guy's out there screaming woe is me or anything like that. With that said, as more time passes (pun intended) his chances just get smaller. Nobody wants the circus that comes with him. But dude is so revered by some that he could probably make millions just doing guest appearances and shit like that.

what is all the hype on this guy about? i really dont get it...if he sucks so much that he cant even make a team, why is he treated like an iconic figure?

wasnt he beastin in his rookie season as a starter and projected to be a star comin out of college? how can he fall off that quick??

he was a Heisman trophy winner and won a national title at Florida...who has a 17/9 Touchdown to interception ratio (which is great) and an 8-6 career record as a starter (not counting 1-1 in the playoffs).

he's hated on for being too christian

well his true rookie year he started the last 3 games and went 1-2 on a horrible team

the next year they started 1-4 and he went 7-4 the rest of the way (including a 6 game winning streak) and lead them to the playoffs where he threw 315 yards in a playoff win against Pittsburgh round 1

round 2 they got murdered by the Patriots....Broncos bring in Peyton Manning and cut Tebow that off season.  tebow goes to the Jets and Rex Ryan starts Mark Sanchez as much as he can (smh) and then the next year he tries out for the Patriots (Who don't need him because of Brady) and gets cut before the year starts.

meanwhile NFL teams actual employ guys like Luke McCown, Blaine Gabbert and Curtis Painter  :eh:

i call BS on it -- they hate the man because he's too christian and has a huge following of weirdo non-NFL fans who are mostly Jesus fanatics and they get tired of the "circus" it causes with the media lol
