They don't give Daz any production credit on the Still I Rise version of "They Don't Give A Fuck About Us"....and who are the Young Assasins? Whoever they are I cut them out of the track
What people are not understanding here is that only about 3 tracks with Pac and Daz. This was to be a full album with Pac and Daz but Daz couldn't get clearance on most of the material. So, he threw on a bunch of remixes and other tracks on the project. This release hit the streets and not the stores. DPGRECORDZ.com made a killing off a project that never got finished. OG CRICCET LOCC bootlegged it and bought his ticket to America.

Okay.. I've now been listening to this Makeveli and Dillinger project for a bit and it really isn't that nice after alll... The beats were either leftover Daz beats or Mike Dean beats so nothing special there, Daz spits fire and his flow is on point but nothing special with the subject matter/content from either Pac or Daz, just left over verses, throw away verses that never would of seen the light of day had Pac lived.
It's good stuff. I still bump it, but First 2 Bomb and Don't Go to Sleep are the gems, then everything else lags behind the OGs.Personally, I think a Daz-produced Pac and Kurupt album while on Death Row would've been a realistic dream album.
LOL on Mike Dean. Mike Dean was probably the best thing Daz had going for him and he fucked him over or some ghetto ass shit. Mike's eating good with Kanye's goofy ass now. I'm sure Kanye is paying him good and knows business WAY better then Daz.DAZ ripped off his fans on this album. I think he charged $200 or something and people paid and never got it. This is where I lost all respect for the clown and his business. He took me on $25 for a couple CDs and T-Shirts (never got it). This is back in 2000ish time on DPGRECORDZ.COM. I laugh now at bootlegging Daz because he fucked his FANS over, so he deserves it. Daz and Makaveli wouldn't have been a great album. Daz is not even in 2pac's league. The few songs they have are enough.

And as much as I love Daz, he doesn't either... Pac can do albums with his disciples like Thug Life or the Outlawz because they were 100% under 2pac's guidance and ministry. Kurupt and Daz were platinum in their own right and they had their own character. Notice the range of Pac's content is severely limited in this effort with Daz.

The few songs they have are enough.he at first charged 500 bucks per copy (and was gonna do 1,000 copies to make a million)then he went to 50 bucks a copy and allegedly pressed up 100,000 although i bet he pressed up 10,000 at most.and of course daz didn't send out anything nor did he refund i remember he once promised free DPG clothing to people who ordered but daz never did shit. what did Daz have to say about it when i confronted him on this forum" "GANK MOVE" - his exact words

But they could easily make an album's worth of songs and it all be dope. Kurupt can hold his own for an entire album, even if the subject matter isn't broad... Tha Streetz Iz a Mutha is a fucking classic. You can't underrate the emcee shit that some guys spit, as long as they have some good energy behind them.
