Tough break for the guy, finally has a great team around him and this happens. At least he got paid.

contract was not guaranteed but he's rich as fuck.  married a rich broad + does well investing.  i'm sure they want him back instead of having to find a new QB.

Cards are 8-1 and won 2 games without CP starting  they should be fine until the playoffs.

20 mill guaranteed ain't bad. But yeah, at least he was a solid QB which they hadn't really had since Kurt Warner.

The playoffs weren't a lock even with Palmer. SF and Seattle are right at the heels here and with the FC North and East both having to great teams each there is no guarantee that 2nd place in the West will get you a Wildcard. I thought that with Palmer they could have gone all the way if they ended up with a #1 seed. I don't see them making the SB or winning it with Stanton.

right at the heals?  SF is 3 games behind and can't win the tie breaker due to already having a loss to AZ.

AZ needs to get to 11 wins and they're in.  Seattle and SF will knock one of each other out and Dallas and Philly will do the same to eachother.
