Earlier this fall, Kxng Crooked announced that he is bringing the first ever rap reality show competition series, One Shot, to fans in 2015. The premise of the show will take Crooked, along with Sway, and SMH Records CEO Mike Smith, across the country searching for the next big thing in rap, with the show's final winner taking home $100,000 and an exclusive contract with SMH.

As the series gets closer and closer to its air date, it has been announced that each week, contestants on the show will perform in front of a group of celebrity hip-hop judges who will grade the initial rounds of the competition on a week-to-week basis. So far, T.I., Game, DJ Khaled, RZA, Twista, Scarface, E-40, and more have been revealed as special celebrity judges for the show.

The judge's will determine a final four rappers from each of the eight cities, who will then enter the studio with producer Jonathan Hay and Mike Smith to get ready for the main event and a chance to get to move onto the show's season finale, which will be held in Las Vegas. lol @ the winner getting a contract with SMH Records, I doubt this will particularly motivate him LOL (no offense to you Jonathan)

If I were an artist I would want $100,000 and a record deal with SMH Records. And i guess that's why people are so motivated and we are getting a staggering amount of submissions. SMH Records is a dope team.

agreed about the 100k. i'm not saying you're not dope, i'm saying you don't have much visibility and clout (no disrespect).

I find it funny that Crooked I (or KXNG Crooked) is judging people for a record deal. Crooked hasn't even put out a solid album and could use the 100k for a budget to do a good solo. If this artist sounds anything like his solo album, it's a waste.

I'm not saying Crooked I isn't good, just that he hasn't done an album shocking himself. We just have a bunch of random tracks that are compiled over his attempt at a career.
