Had he said "this might not be for him" it wouldn't be a story is what I think he meant. There's zero evidence that he was dissing her for being a woman. Dude's pretty polished, he knows it would be a media shit storm if he just came out and trashed her for being a female.

yea, he most likely was not dissing her for bein a woman ref....but it definitely could play a role in why she got overly emotional when assessing those techs.

In this game, and just this game, I think the ref was in the right. But the last game the Clippers and this ref were in, it was all bad for the Clippers. So it seems like because of bad feelings from the last game, they carried over to this game and she was t'ing up everyone to try and gain the respect of the Clippers. She's not the first, nor will she be the last ref to do that. I personally, HATE when refs do that. But I'm not blaming her for that. It's the damn culture of NBA refs.

And players have complained about this forever, and the league has fined them forever. And Phil Jackson might have bought the NBA a private jet for them because of him complaining about the refs. And it does become a story, especially the video I posted above. What the NBA needs to do is look at the overall referee culture. This woman was a chance for a fresh start, but now she's like every other ref.
