I don't even know why people compare them other than vague notions of them both being "new west" artists. If Dom wanted Kendrick's popular success with mainstream appeal, he wouldn't be turning down major label deals.

Dom makes LA music, he makes his music for cats from LA and from the west and makes good money doing that, enough money where he turned down deals with labels like Maybach music, etc. I woulnd't even say he is trying to follow trends, doms lyrics are hella simple, but thats what makes him dope. I'd say the same for Casey Veggies too...
