To Pimp a Butterfly is a once in a decade album that's defining youth and even protest. Compton is a nosteligic album that is being used to sell an album. Both have my favorite rapper today and of yesterday, only one has the greatest producer, but the other is just so well put together. I have to go with K Dot.

Both Classic, 10/10 to me.

But if Doggystyle is a 100, they both a 80-85ish. - But then again Doggystyle is the best album of all time to me.

Both in my top 2 this year.  Hard to choose but TPAB has great listenability most of the way through.  Right now I'm leaning towards Compton but we'll see if it's still on my thumb drive months after like TPAB.

TPAB was a great album but I didn't like it and will probably never play again (twice was enough)

Compton was decent at best, but it had enough on there to go back to a few tracks I enjoyed

Co-sign - it was interesting and had "important" themes, but wasn't very enjoyable, IMO.

The beats had some cool experimental stuff, but weren't really polished quality production like Compton.
Also, I just don't really like Kendrick's voice and flow, but I understand why people really like him.

so much of this post just doesn't make any sense to me lol so you won't play a 'great' album more than once but you'll replay a 'decent' album over and over?  :eh:
