Come on why all the hating? Pimp Slap was all true, even though Tha Row Yall Hoes song is on point! The big dog has a family now.

I have Last meal playing in my stereo right now, this album is good. Master P really put Snoop back on the map!

Give it up for Snoop Doggy Dog

I will start to respect Snoop more when he starts making better music. Snoop is one of my favorite rappers like I have said before but the the music that he is making lately is not tight at all in my opinion. To me, Snoops songs are hit & miss material. One minute he makes a tight song & the next minute he makes a real shitty song. He isn't consistant at all. He needs to get his head right & give the fans what they want, another CLASSIC album.

I really think Paid tha cost.. is a tight album,it just shouldn't be compared to Tha Last Meal, wich I think is second only to Doggystyle.Only tracks of it I really dont like are Bo$$ Playa,Hourglass and Message to fat cuz.Of Last Meal "back up off me" is the only really shitty track,it's awfull,I like everything else on the album (not including Game Court, wich isn't a track to begin with)I play Paid tha cost..quite often.

I honestly don't know how someone can think Tha Last Meal is better than No Limit Top Dogg. Is it because Dre oversaw mass amounts of production on Tha Last Meal? I mean, scratch that, let's pretend it was Meech Well's name on that album, or Jellyroll, would it be as good? Tha Last Meal was a poor attempt of an album in my opinion. No Limit Top Dogg had Dre production, Dre rapping, DJ QUIK production (which we'll probably never see combo-ed again), Mausberg (RIP), Warren G, I mean this is all things Tha Last Meal lacked. Shit, did everyone forget BITCH PLEASE? It's true what Snoop says about that song, it did bring the Westcoast back on the map. Snoop was spitting true gangsta lyrics, he had Dre on the beat, Nate on the hook, and Xzibit spittin his shit. It was Snoop's first TRUE return to gangsta rap. It also contained little No Limit influence except 2 songs, one of which was a real good song (song with C-Murder). Da Game Is To..... was a dissapointment as everyone knows, and I'm sure most of us at that point doubted Snoop's ability to come back to true Gangsta rap, and that's what Top Dogg was. I'm sorry, but Snoop just didn't reach his roots on Tha Last Meal as much as he did on Top Dogg. Top Dogg just had all the elements to make a great Snoop album. Tha Last Meal had ONE true head knocking gangsta song in my opinion, and that was "LAY LOW", which was a hard ass song don't get me wrong, but the album is NOTHING on Top Dogg. Infact, I don't even think Tha Last Meal was as good as Tha Doggfather. Tha Doggfather STILL showed a closer side of Snoop's "Doggystyle era" than Tha Last Meal did. Daz, Soopafly, and Pooh did a great job of providing a gangsta/westcoast influenced album.

If someone can show me some good facts as to how Tha Last Meal is better than No Limit Top Dogg, I'd like to see them.

^ :)

last meal was also where snoop started using more experimental production.. everyone moaned... and he took that and moved forwards and made another album with even more experimental stuff... hmm... not staying stagnant.. but still alienating his older fans :/
