the man was behind the bigest west coast releases in recent time: this year's pimp the butterfly, in 2014 young jeezy brough him to work on yg's my krazy life.
 he was workin on snoops ego trippin along with dj quik & teddy riley and produced whole kurupts album . he mixed jay rock 1st album along with ali too. hes not only messin with technical stuff but also plays live instruments on these records. in one interview it was said that dr.dre added his touches to terrace solo 3chordfold.

Props for creating this thread. I was actually thinking about doing the same, because I've been bumping the new Ty Dolla Sign album, and it's clear that Terrace's trademark sounds are all over it. Did Terrace get any official credit for that album, or was it all just homie love? You can hear him for certain playing the sax on "Credit."

Terrace is one of the best producers alive. Dope nigga and a true genius.

yeah Terrace's signature sound is all over Ty's album (which has grown on me quite a lot recently). I haven't bought the album I just stream it through Apple Music so I wouldn't know but I don't think they're homie though, Terrace brags a lot on social media about his connections with TDE (Punch, mixedbyAli), Mustard, YG, 1500 or Nothin and Ty Dolla $ign yet they never shout him out (except for Kendrick and sometimes Mustard) or post pictures with him (unlike him) and don't even follow him (at least ali and ty $), I guess they just respect him on a professional level.

Terrace is in his prime and getting some major production duties, that's for sure. This year alone he was on Lupe Fiasco's album, Jill Scott's, Big K.R.I.T.'s, Travis Scott's, RJ & Choices (10 Summers records / Pushaz Ink.), all over TPAB, and Free TC, and he's working heavily on YG's next album.

Good release, to be sure, but I prefer Here My Dear. That was Terrace's greatest release. Sex EP, Locke High 2, and 3Chord Fold are also quality projects. It's too bad Terrace slowed down in releasing music of his own. I like his vocals as well as his beats. On the mic, he's just a real nigga talking about some real shit. We need more Terrace Martins in the game.
